The OCV (Conventions and Visitors Bureau) now sells fishing licences. The costs are as follows:
1 day: 150 pesos
1 week: 300 pesos
1 month: 420 pesos
1 year: 558 pesos
What is the OCV? They’re the group that helps bring us such popular events as the Shrimp Festivals and the Fun Run. At the OCV’s office, you can pick- up informative pamphlets and brochures, and some good maps of the area. The staff is friendly and bilingual and always eager to help people get aquainted with San Carlos and Guaymas.
