This photo was taken from the sundial. Yes, there’s a sundial in San Carlos. It’s a short walk to a spectacular view. The marker by the sundial claims that it is “one of the most beautiful views in all of Mexico”.
To get there, take the road towards the MarinaTerra Beach Club. Just before the parking lot, turn left into the residential area. Park. Walk through the wrought iron gates, up the hill to the end of the paved road. Then keep going out to the end of the point.
If the gate is closed, you can follow a trail along the cliffs from the Marina Terra Beach Club.
