Hello Friends,
I am very excited to announce that this year’s planning and preparation for the Cantina Cup is coming along. We are once again a qualifying event for the IGFA World Finals in Cabo San Lucas.
This year’s tournament will be held on October 7th-9th 2011.
Registration will be at the Marina Cantina on the 7th of October @ 5:00 in the afternoon. Fishing competition will be on Saturday October 8th and Sunday October 9th with a Shot Gun Start each day @ 7:00 am. Our tournament dinner and awards reception will be held at the San Carlos Yacht Club on Sunday evening.
The winner of this year’s Cantina Cup will not only earn a place in the IGFA World Finals, but the Winning Team will win LOTS of prize money.
This year, there will be four Jackpots that entering teams can sign up for.
As always, there is a mandatory $1,000 per boat jackpot. There are also optional $500 jackpots for both Saturday and Sunday. Lastly, we will be having a $500 overall Jackpot that will be awarded to the winning team with the most cumulative points over the two days.
