What do Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, and Michael Buble all have in common? His name is Paul Turville, a singer whose performance is better known locally as “The Pablo Show”. Featured at the Fiesta Real Hotel, this is one class act. For those of us fortunate enough to have seen The Pablo Show last week, we were entertained with his deep, sensual voice and style. The set lasted for the 2.5 hours that we were there.
Pablo hails from Puerto Peñasco, where he’s been entertaining residents and visitors for over 10 years. We are lucky enough to have him come to San Carlos once a month to sing a vast selection of music, from traditional pop, country western, and show hits — classic tunes that will have you singing and dancing too.
We were also thrilled with Fiesta Real’s new menu, which included special Combo Plates where you can choose among a great selection of meat and seafood. I loved the filet mignon and lobster tail combo, which was served with a baked potato and cooked vegetables. This fancy and delicious meal came at the very palatable price of 190 pesos ($13.50 US!).
You just can’t beat a night at one of the best waterfront restaurants in town, enjoying the sand, surf, and sunset with the Tetakawi Mountains in the background, and Pablo in the foreground.
