Bonifacios Cotton Club San Carlos
Bonifacios Cotton Club San Carlos
“Relaxed Elegance with a Passion for Detail”

Bonifacios is an excellent choice in San Carlos for fine dining. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bonifacio’s Cotton Club. It is tastefully decorated, offers a unique assortment of dishes and does a great job at presenting its culinary delights.
It’s also perfect for special occasions, like birthdays. If you bring three friends, you’ll eat for free on your birthday.
At Bonifacio’s, I enjoyed a delicious tuna steak for 125 pesos. It was served on an avocado and mango salad, wrapped in a red pepper slice and topped by a savory sauce. My dining companions were equally pleased with the brisket, steak fajitas and fried fish (a lake fish from Sinaloa).
Bonifacio’s is located on the beach between Paradiso and the Soggy Peso. It is the perfect place to watch the sun set while listening to live music and enjoying fine dining. See below for directions and a map.
Whether or not it’s a special occasion, you can make it a great night out by choosing Bonifacios.
Opening Night Review of Bonifacios by local musician, Eric Holland
Yes the name is different for our beach community, but soon it will become a household name and everyone will know where it is: Located just west of the popular Soggy Peso on Algodones Beach and South of Paradiso- take the palm studded road that brings you past Astrid’s Horse riding corrals and go 50 meters beyond the Peso and you find an indoor-outdoor-open- “Beach Lounge” restaurant that serves lunch and then dinner until 10:00pm.
Weekends there will be a variety of live music until after midnight.
The Grand Opening was March 5th. Music begins at sunset with Eric Holland on stage. Mention What’s Up San Carlos and receive a free appetizer!
The Bonifacio family is new to San Carlos: Francisco, his wife Sandra and their three young children. Also we need to welcome Francisco’s sisters Lidya and Pame, who will be the full time managers of the Cotton Club. OK, here is an example of a ‘middle of the road’ priced dinner entrée: Pork Tenderloin over Spinach and (ajo) garlic, mashed potatoes topped with mango piña chutney sauce, glazed with a white teriyaki salsa. Vamos!! An example of an appetizer: Tapas al pesto hoja Santa leaf wrap. To find out more about the menu, you gotta visit this place!
Amazing decorations, private dining rooms, sunroof, stand-up bar and all beachside on Algodones beach!
The expertise and flow of this restaurant beach bar-concept stems from their other family restaurant and touring business in El Fuerte near Copper Canyon (south of us). There, they provide eclectic ambience, food, hotel accommodations, music and travel packages that appeal to all cultures.
