Final Sponsor’s List for our Rotary Golf Tourney

The Rotary Club Of San Carlos wishes to thank the many Sponsors that made our Tourney a success.

They made a huge sacrifice in this uncertain economy and it is much appreciated.

They provided 18 hole sponsorships as well as many great gift certificates that we we’re able to reward the participants with.

Click here and here for the list of sponsors who helped make this happen.

We also thank the 56 Golfers that participated in the Tourney as well as all those who helped with running it and the administrator of the course as well as the ones there that helped make it a success.

Thanks also to “What’s Up San Carlos” for helping us get the word out.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Gordon Rector-Tourney Director

Where to watch the Annual Lighted Boat Parade?

When: December 24th (Christmas eve)

Where: Anywhere along the water between the marina and Charly’s Rock.
A great place to watch it from is the little Malecon beside Charly’s Rock.
A water front restaurant would also be an excellent choice.

Danny will be at La Palapa Griega on Christmas Eve for a great view of the Boat Parade.

Who’s Who in Entertainment

The Club de Capitanes (Captains Club) is having a three year anniversary of their Monday night silent movies next Monday.

The hilarious movies include Charlie Chaplain, Fatty Arbuckle and of course Omar Arriega playing impromptu-keystone cop piano.

It all happens at sunset every Monday, outside on the patio with food specials, drinks served and free popcorn.

Omar along with Danny Moreno and Alberto Serna will also play a one night only show at the Casino in Guaymas on:

December 23rd from 9:00 to midnight. The new band is called Bohemia Club Banda.

The Palapa will be closed on Christmas Day:  So, Eric Holland will perform Wednesday (December 22) from 5:00pm till 8:00pm.

Don’t miss Eric performing on stage at the Palapa celebrating with Christmas songs, a tribute to John Lennon and a special guest.

The ever-popular LUNA BAND will no longer play Wednesdays but will play Christmas Eve at the Palapa, also starting at five.
