The Seafarin’ Kayakers will be touring the Estuary Soldado on Saturday, December 17 at 8:30am. Come and join tour leader Bryan Replogle as he leads you through the slow estuary waters surrounded by extensive mangroves. Enjoy the magnificent scenery as Bryan points out the many different species of birds, which may include Snowy Egret, Terns, Roseate Spoonbills, Herons and Pelicans. Remember to bring your binoculars. After touring the estuary, those who wish to can continue kayaking in the ocean from Pilar beach and look for the dolphins.
All levels are suited to this location. If you’ve never kayaked before, this is a good chance to try it out on very still water.
