From Saturday, October 29 to Sunday, October 30, view the Day of the Dead Altars (Festival de la Calaca) at Plaza de la Pistola. See it on a map (Avenida Alfonso Iberri from Calle 21 to the Calle 22 in Guaymas).
Starting on Saturday, various schools will show their Altars in a competition. The voting will take place on October 30 at 7:00pm. The awards ceremony will follow at 8:00pm at the main temple located on Calle 20 and Av. Alfonso Iberri, with the Mayor presenting the awards.
