Guaymas_newHow many ways have you arrived in Guaymas? Car, bus, plane? What may surprise you is how FEW people actually arrive by sea into this deep-water port. On November 17, you can do it with your family and friends, departing Marina San Carlos and arriving by charter boat and travelling to the deep-water Port of Guaymas. This one-of-its-kind cruise includes:

  • Sunrise on the Sea of Cortés, described by Jacques Cousteau as the “Aquarium of the World.”
  • Fantastic views of islands, shoreline and marine life as we glide eastward into the new morning light.
  • Your crew will serve fresh brewed coffee, along with warm empanadas filled with sweet fruit.
  • We will ’round the Horn of South Port Guaymas with magnificent views of the hundred-year-old French Lighthouse some 400-feet above on a steep cliff, while viewing aquatic life along the shore.
  • Somewhere during the voyage, we drop a video camera into the water and watch live images from under the sea.
  • Somewhere during the journey, we look up at the sky and learn about the stars and planets above, just before the sun comes up.
  • We arrive in the new Port of Guaymas and walk for a few blocks to learn some of the city’s history.
  • Optional brunch at a local restaurant.
  • Then we board ground transportation to motor back to San Carlos, right where we started.
