Castaway Kids will be having a CD release party and concert at La Palapa Griega on Sunday, March 27, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. The event will feature live music by the artists on the CD, such as Mark Mulligan, Leslie and Bobby Sahlen, The Twins, Eric Holland, and many others.
There is no cover for the event. All proceeds from the sale of the CD will benefit Castaway Kids. CDs cost $10 US (120 pesos). If you buy a CD, you’ll receive a free margarita or beer. There will also be 50/50 draws, silent auctions, door prizes, and an ”art walk” by La Liga de Arte.
A Community Service Award will be presented at the concert. The membership of Castaway Kids voted at their last meeting to name the award after Doug Marshall, one of our own San Carlos Heroes. Click here to see the list of nominees.
