Fishing Report
Hello guys and gals....sorry for not getting the report out last
week..was trying to get the elusive other boat back in the water...the one who
has been out of commission for 8 months...our original boat Jonjen. Well finally
we have her in and running...purring like a kitten with her new engines...Now we
are propping her.. so a little more time....
Well last week has been a roller coaster ride for fishing...good one day bad the next...Jonjen 2 was out twice...with getting a one of our long time customers friend getting his first Sailfish and his Release Me T-shirt....also getting a couple nice Dorado...some boats reporting good fish 35 miles out boating big Dorado...Catch 22 was having same results again with excellent days and then the bad days....Like today everyone had a nada nada day with a couple boats only getting one small Dorado....
Last Sunday saw me getting out with our mechanic Luis...I failed to hook up on four occasions...just seemed really like a very soft bite...Not the aggressive hit...So it was my fault but oh well that's fishing...Saw Sails feeding on Skip jack like Yellow fin..crashing into the bait not one but literally dozens of Sails......every direction was a fish jumping etc.etc..fish attacking all over the place it was a feeding frenzy in all directions....hopefully will be like this for the Bill fish Blowout next weekend...Mark Mulligan is playing Sunday after 6;30 and its open to the public...Lots of raffle prizes available so if you do come... please look at our raffle table...2 Baitmaster goodie bags, West Marine goodie bag, Star Marine goodies, 60¨ replica sailfish beautiful, Gift certificate Ruby wine bar, Phoenix Fishing goodie bag or rod and reel, and more to come.....So we hope to see you all this next weekend....New shirts,shorts and hats just in from Guy Harvey stop in and check them out....
