New entertainment event at the Captain's Club!
They are now having an open mike on Sundays
starting at 2:00 PM. All
musicians, singers, comedians and poets are welcome to come down and
perform their stuff. It's hosted by The Captain's Club and The Bliss
band.

The San Carlos Men's Breakfast Club is now meeting at Maria's Pizza on
Thursday mornings at 9:00.
The players of the hand and foot game at the Marinaterra restaurant have
decided to change the time. We will now start at 9:15AM. All players are
welcome. If you would like to learn please call Phyllis Lilischkies at home
and she can set up times. For additional information you can call either
Phyllis.
WOW, WHAT A WEEKEND in Colorado from Mark Mulligan! Thanks to ALL
who attended both shows, first one a private Thursday night house
concert for the wonderful Woodrock community near Divide, Colorado
(that one was at 10,000 feet, hosted by my friends Bob and Susie Beger
in their gorgeous home home that Susie designed) And then the
following night for the big show in Elizabeth, CO hosted by the fun folks
at Coyote Creek Concerts in a former turkey coop (yes, you read right)
now converted into a concert hall, with stage, lighting, professional sound
and crew. That one was like a San Carlos reunion, with half of the 160 on
hand either San Carlos residents or visitors. How cool was that! In fact, it
was a record crowd and the fastest sellout ever for Coyote Creek
Concerts. (We actually went over their capacity!) We recorded the show
and who knows, maybe someday a few of those acoustic recordings will
make a CD....will keep you posted. For now, a big thanks to all who
drove from all over the state of Colorado, even as far away as Arizona, to
catch the show

These adorable Doberman puppies are being escorted by a little girl who
fell in love with them at the Car show. They are advertised in the new
